i desperately want to do a gritty reboot of Scooby Doo where its a straight horror film and Charlie Day plays Shaggy and get a real dog for Scooby and use Babe technology to make him talk.

it would still have all the trappings of a regular Scooby Doo story; running through doors, Shaggy and Scooby being bait, the monster just being a guy in a costume but all through a super scary lens

and like the bad guy is played by Weird Al and hes this old farmer who sold his soul to Satan

and the the cherry on top is Danny DeVito plays Scrappy Doo but its just him in a dog costume and no one talks about it and he’s crackin open beers and cursing

I think that movie would make a billion dollars
