Okay but the first set of gifs is not a joke like that’s literally how it goes.
One of the girls at work won’t get in the guy’s car unless he agrees to let her take photos of him and his license plate to text to her mother. If he gets mad or makes a fuss she cancels the date and goes back inside.
Every time my bet friend or I go somewhere that could be potentially risky (And that 100% includes meeting new men in public places.), we tell each other where we will be (But we also have location trackers for each other through iMessage, and we have it continually available.), the address if we know it, decide on an “if I don’t text you by this time, call 911 and then my dad” time, text each other as soon as we leave, and have two sets of safety questions that are asked immediately. The first question for each of us is a personal question that next to no one knows the answer to (And it’s a really random thing that no one would guess.) but we have a correct answer and a “call 911 and then my dad” answer as a signal of distress. After that, there’s a Tumblr-related question with the same answer system. I suggest all women implement any of these that they don’t already, but especially that last one! This could literally save your life.
